Why would man wanna be made of metal? Does he believe it'll keep him clean? I will recycle you into a kettle; whistle along with your fading steam. All affection, all amends will come. While the glitterati are so in love you with you again, you take the martyrdom. Savage and brutal and beaten and broken, sitting alone with your deity. Look all around this is God's final token. Grab all your tickets and follow me. All attention, all your friends will come. And your masterpieces are so hanging on your bedroom wall; you take the martyrdom. Why don't you give a bit of your time and wisdom? Why don't you give me a bit of your time? You don't have to be baptized to storm the gates of heaven with a tear in your eye. So goes the life of a man made of metal; rusted and busted along the seams All attention, all amends will come. While the glitterati are so hangin' on your bedroom wall; you take the martyrdom

Curmudgeons 03:02
Curmudgeons You must remember You must remember the way back to how it was and seek that open road. Fill it in, a book give it a look, then you think about all of the ways it’s shook Numbers don’t lie and I hope that you like it when I Go Gotta turn it up a bit to let me Go Can I tune it in and turn it up and let it all go? When all’s forgiven Will we still be living in sacred homes, and should I buy or rent? Jesus Christ-- Will he be judgin’ all the freaks and the curmudgeons? Oh God I sure hope so I’m both of ‘em And I know that you're cryin' when I Go Gotta turn it up a bit to let you Know Everybody cha cha cha And I know that you hate me. And I hope that you save me now. And I know that you hate me And I know that you're cryin', baby Everybody's crying, then you go I don't want to think about, no.

Well he gave you the date and you decided to wait, so now you’re home again Well she gave you the night and you decided to fight, so now you're home again Well you gave her the world and she decided the world was not the place for her Well she gave him her word and he decided the word had too much weight in it Don’t you know that we’ve got it made Do you think you are lonely? (so here we go again) It doesn’t matter what it pays It only matters what we own, (so here we go again) I’ll keep trying to make it so we try to keep ourselves engaged Forget the things that we’ll never know and think about the other day Don’t you forget the other day I will never give up and you will never give in so now we’re home again We will never get back to the proverbial past and call it home again* We can make it a world with just a boy and a girl and many relatives If we don’t have a voice then we’ll just make lots of noise and we’ll be home again* Don’t you see that we’ve got it made We will never be lonely (so here we go again) It doesn’t matter what you say It only matters what we know (so here we go again) The other day I made you laugh, today I made you cry The other day I said it right, today I tried to lie The other day was full of life, today somebody passed The other day was really good, today it didn’t last Today it didn’t last, so here we go again

I don’t want to be the one who gives ya / reason to pray for THE END of the world / with your boney, bible-thumpin hands. Wait a minute! Not again! You’re jokin’ / this one is not about your flock-talk, gawk-talk, shock-talkin’ up your man. I don’t wanna be wastin’, I don’t wanna be wastin’ time while I gotcha on the line. Maybe if we keep talkin’, everyone will believe we’re right. We just know that we can get it right. Seems to me that I’m the one who uses / all of the big words to explain to you how simple it could be That’s alright you barely pay attention / you shoot me a side-eye glance that cut cut cut cut cut cuts me deep I don’t wanna be chasin’ my confusion; it sure can hide in the places I can never find Maybe if I retrieve it, I can stop making up my mind. Cause I want it all to be alright Give my love to your mother and father I don’t wanna be a hypocrite no more. (all the ways I’ve gotta be, I’ve got to know, got to know the way to the…) Show my life to the man in the window I don’t wanna be belligerent no more (all the ways you gotta be, you’ve got to know, got to know the way to the end) Give my guilt to a man who can use it I don’t want to be a citizen no more Maybe a nice machine will take us home again. Take a look and take a picture of it / you will last longer if you do / cost ya nothing but a soul that you’ll never use. Isn’t it the holiest communion / virtual immortality’s / another keg of powder waiting for another light and fuse

Cause I Know 03:39
I don't even know why I am writing you a song again. I don't even know why I am giving you a thought again. But now, now you are here and you don't seem to be getting it. I will use a lot of simple words to explain. Cause I know. I don't think you'd deny sins that everybody know about. But, I know you will lie once your masquerade is figure out. But now, now you are waiting for the big thief to come around. How long? Cause another one's escaped through the gates Why do you need this to be true? Oh no, brother, no no not for you. I can hear another voice aloud. I can hear it in the way that you say, that when you need this to be true a little part of you dies. Yeah, do you realize I can hear another voice aloud. And a whispers all I need When we categorize, you may not abide the class your in. Probably rationalize and blame anybody else you can.
6.
Give me a week and I will make you one of us You give a month now and I will make you want it You give me a year and you will do it to yourself Cause I only need your time Give me a decade of your life and I will give a Century’s worth of the right to live forever When we have reached a new millennium you’ll ask another one for some time His beautiful eyes will make you kinda weak Do it some more and we will hit infinity the Eons will go by like crosses through the stations We don’t know why we are so cursed with patience and there’s suffering in the streets Her beautiful eyes they make you wanna weep Her beautiful eyes they make you kinda weak Went far enough to reach the end of all of it Nothing but nothing and nothing to remember Probably enough but I will let you know if something suddenly comes to mind if something comes to my mind His beautiful mouth will make you wanna eat Her beautiful mouth will make you wanna speak His beautiful eyes will make you cry Her beautiful arms will make you lie down and His beautiful mind will make you wanna die

When you think there is no other way, chuck it all against the windows and make 'em break. Toss it all into the breeze. Let it carry 'em away into the open seas. Cause you know you're here and that is something. Bad days don't feel so bad when they're over. Well you wait in line and lose your patience thinking, "When's it gonna be my time?" Lonely days will let you be alone. Well you wait in line for life to hand you lemons; waiting for another sign. When you think it's really over, chuck it all against the wall. Don't go for cover.. Throw it up into the trees, let it scare the birds. The winter winds will make 'em freeze. Cause you know you're here and they are going down. Bad days don't feel so bad when they're over. Well you wait in line and lose your mind thinking, "When's it gonna be my time?" Lonely days will let you be alone. Well you wait in line for life to hand you seven; when you really needed nine. You know you really needed nine. Now we're all medicated, docile, sedated; waiting on it all to come true Oh we're so contemplative, so complicated; seeking out the reanimated soul that's wasting you.

I don't wanna hear another word. I don't wanna hear another about the way that we don't talk anymore. We don't talk, talk, talk anymore. Can't we say that we have seen and heard Can't we say that we have seen and heard a lot of words and leave our talk at the door? We'll leave our big, fat talk at the door. I don't want to offend you, baby I don't wanna be the one who leaves you all alone I don't like it anymore than you do. When you got the spirit in ya You can exercise down in Wheeling, West Virginia WE ALL GOT IT DOWN WE ALL GOT IT NOW THEN THE AUDIENCE SCREAMS AND THEN THEY GIVE US A CROWN When the spirit makes you shiver There's a fire burning under the Ohio River WE ALL GOT IT NOW WE'RE ALL GOING DOWN THEN THEY GIVE US THE KEYS AND THEN THEY GIVE US THE TOWN Well you say I'm the only one and you think I'm the only one I don't think I'm the only one

Penny lies to the wholly pocket Can't you hear me dyin'? Serpentine your nose is clean; your bet Wicked word when the grass is greener Don't you hear me livin'? We are the so unseen, with our decoder rings falling off all of our fingers. And I do not know how long you can live under the ocean blue. I do not know how long, but HEY! it i just another time to figure it out on your own. Nobody's home. Carny man and his rockin' band take the hand of Jesus. Who knows more of purgatory than them? Wicked world when I take my turn Can't you hear me breathin'? And maybe we can see another use for me other than just getting in the way. And I know why you are gonna run. And I know why you are never done. And I know why you are gonna stay. And I know why you are taking Everything incredibly retro and uselss, you're diggin' it a grave.
